Shortly before the exhibition, we had a heated discussion about nGbK’s proposal to keep the exhibition space at a low temperature, meaning no additional heating would be used to warm the circulated air. Many members of our working group were concerned that this could make visitors uncomfortable and discourage them from staying if they felt too cold. Having put so much work into the exhibition, we wanted to create conditions in which visitors could fully engage with the results. In the end, we agreed on maintaining a temperature of 18 degrees in the exhibition space and welcomed the idea of serving tea to visitors. nGbK also agreed to monitor temperatures, collect visitor feedback, and make adjustments if necessary. We also agreed that the space would be heated during events.
