Four people, artists Krisztina Erdei and Dániel Misota, András Cséfalvay and curatorial team-member Katalin Erdődi traveled by public transport from Budapest, Vienna and Bratislava to Bátaapati. On May 11 the repository had an open day, where it was possible to join a tour to descend into the tunnel’s 200m depth where its nuclear waste is stored. During this weekend András recorded sounds for his opera with the help of local students, while Kriszta and Dániel continued their research and shot the first scenes for their film.
